THREE or four months ago an article appeared in the Journal outlining plans for the development and improvements to be carried out in the Bradshawgate area.

Readers were invited to comment on the plans.

I sent an e-mail suggesting that before trees were planted and seating installed action was needed to alleviate the problem of pigeons on Bradshawgate.

This has prevailed for years without any action being taken.

Planting trees just gives the pigeons extra places to roost.

In the past three weeks the trees have been planted and seating has now been installed immediately underneath them.

Unbelievable!

I for one will not be using the new seating as I don’t fancy being covered in pigeon droppings.

Is any action going to be taken to get rid of the pigeons?
