SIR, I would like to comment on the absolute shambles of Wigan Council services for which we pay good money.

Such as the disgraceful state of our roads when we had a little bit of snow (the authority ran out of grit at one point) then the bin situation with no collections for days.

Have we suddenly decided to employ the Chuckle Brothers to run our Council.

I recently spoke with a person from Warrington who assured me in that area there were no problems whatsoever.

Perhaps we could send our Council leaders a few miles down the road where they could learn how to do things properly.
