SIR, In response to Mr Lally's letter about bin collections.

It wouldn't help council leaders in Wigan to visit Warrington for advice. We live in Warrington and have not had our bins emptied since December 15. Nor have the main roads through Glazebury and Culcheth been gritted.

The great majority of local authoirites in the UK could do with a shake up especially in view of the amount of council tax households have to pay.
