SIR, We only have until February 25 to write to the Council opposing their plans to build a megaschool on Hesketh Meadow Playing Fields. We have created a website to help www.heskethmeadowactiongroup.co.uk where there are facts and figures on transport, admissions, oversubscriptions, catchment area, special needs provision and the address to write to, and new info is being uploaded all the time.

We would love to put on a standard letter that you could print off, sign and send in, but Wigan Council would treat this as just ONE complaint, even if hundreds sent it in! You can complain about one thing, or everything.

This will affect everyone in Lowton, Golborne and surrounding areas, but together, our pens can be mightier than Wigan's sword! Write in and save your community!
