SIR, I have a serious complaint to make about the cleanliness and hygiene of the road that leads to Gin Pit village.
My daughter started at the village nursery in January and we walk there Monday-Thursday. It's not so much all the cans, bottles, plastic bags, papers, takeaway rubbish, food containers and even furniture, although the amount dumped is appalling.
My main complaint is about all the dog muck that is on the one and only pavement that we have to walk on. It's about time something was done to make the road a safe and clean place to walk with our children, after all why on earth are we paying so much in council tax if the pavements and hedges are not kept clean.
This road is absolutely disgusting.

I have children and am sick of the amount of times i have to swerve around dog muck across pavements.
Yet the council will spend thousands of pounds of blasting chewing gum of the pavements and shopping area. I would say dog mess is far more of a health risk than chewing gum.
