I am overjoyed to see that unemployment in Britain has fallen by 49,000 and I hope that this signals the beginning of the end of the recession.

However, I am astonished to see that 77% of all new jobs have been taken up by people who were not born in Britain. Surely this is proof that the policy of uncontrolled immigration, which we effectively have at the moment, has a negative effect on British workers.

I would suggest that it would make more sense for the government to get our own people back into work first, even if this initially requires some tough welfare measures.
