I'D like to offer the following questions re the Guided Busway: Will the guided section be two-way as both UK samples shown on the GMPTE website appear to be one-way tidal flow busways?

Will the guided section be made up of bolted together sectionised concrete which resembles a railway?

Will this new bus route start at Leigh town centre bus station or further out near the lorry park at Bedford?

The 8km to Ellenbrook is said to be guided, does that mean the other 14km is unguided?

Does the quote include the cost of the extra lane on both sides of the East Lancs Road with all changes that will involve?6 Is it going to keep to budget as the Cambridge busway cost £180 million and opened two years late, £64 million over budget?

Surely opening a station at Kenyon Junction rather than at Pennington will allow more trains to stop. Then using a bus service between Kenyon and Leigh by extending the by pass will offer a great service and will be cheaper to develop. Also this extended by pass will relieve pressure on the Greyhound island in the rush hour as it offers an other route into Culcheth. Plus it offers a railway station to the people of Culcheth and Croft.
