Last again

WOULD like to ask why Higher Folds is always the last area in Leigh to have a visit from the Rotary Father Christmas sleigh?

I have noticed that for many years this has been the case. I will agree that we did have a few problems on the estate one year and the float got damaged (by a small bunch of mindless idiots) but this has not happened since.

Higher Folds is no worse than any other estate and far better than some. Why should our children be made to wait till the last?

By the time he comes to our estate the children are fed up waiting and have lost interest.

I looked forward to being on the street corner for this event with my donation, but then discovered we were last on the list.

How about the 'trees' being last for a change?
