Treeless Tyldesley

CAN anyone tell me why there wasn't a Christmas tree on Tyldesley Market Square?
Leigh and Wigan were ablaze with big trees, lights and decorations but all Tyldesley had were a few pathetic displays so high up on lamp posts you couldn't see them!
We pay our council tax but are always treated like poor relations.
Our local councillors always go on about what they do for Tyldesley, why didn't they give us some festive cheer?
