Too little, too long for Leigh West

I HAVE lived in the Gordon/Glebe Street area of Leigh for over 20 years.

It has been suggested by a Council official recently that the Lottery money which has been awarded to part of Leigh West Ward may be spent over a 10 year period.

This is too little for too long and it will be spread far too thinly. One million pounds may seem a lot but in such a densely populated area it will not go far.

Much more is needed in money and direct help NOW!
