I BELIEVE British people are being taken down a very dangerous path in the pursuit of profit though plans for the adoption of American style of health care where the care is only given if you can afford to pay BUPA and the like.

I AM absolutely amazed that Salford Council has the absurd idea of putting a bus lane along the East Lancs Road from the Height roundabout all the way to Ellenbrook Road, Boothstown.

I UNDERSTODD that Atherleigh Way was principally built to cut down on the amount of traffic going through the centre of Leigh in the Atherton and Bolton direction from the Pennington side of Leigh i.e. it was built to act as a Leigh by-pass.

Can you help researcher?
