GEORGE HEAVYSIDE On December 8 2017, in Fairfield Hospital, Bury and of Hewlett Court, Holcombe Brook and formerly of Westhoughton, George aged 97 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Alice, loving father of Tom and father-in-law to Olivia, dear uncle of Paula and dear friend of the late Doris. Service of thanksgiving for his life at St. John's Church, Wingates, Westhoughton on Thursday December 21 at 12.00noon followed by committal at Howe Bridge Crematorium, Atherton at 1.00pm. Family flowers only please. Donations in his memory are for 'Bolton Hospice', cheques only please payable to the charity.
