MARY BROOKES Peacefully in Westleigh Lodge Nursing Home, Leigh - Mrs Mary Brookes (nee Smith) 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Norman, sister to John and the late Eddie and Enid. Loving aunt to Stephen, Ian, Martin, Janet and John. Formerly from Leigh, she left to marry and lived in Norfolk for over 50 yrs. She was well known as a Brown Owl at St Peters Church in Firs Lane. " Mary will be sadly missed by all of her family and all who knew her." A funeral service will be held at Howe Bridge Crematorium on Friday, 11th October 2019 at 1.45pm. Family flowers only please donations, if desired, will be split between St Andrew's Church, Cromer road, Metton.
