ROTHWELL Alan Gerald It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Reverend Alan Gerald Rothwell. Alan died after a short illness in the care of the Royal Devon and Exeter hospital. Alan spent the last 30 years in Cornwall and Devon but was most proud of his home town of Leigh, it's people and it's rugby club. Alan will be missed by his wife of 51 years Julie, his children Karl, Darren, Tracey and Philip, his 10 grandchildren and great grandchild and his siblings Stephen, Elaine and Adrian along with their families. He is now at peace with his much loved mother, father, mother-in-law and brother Trevor. He will be deeply missed by all of those lucky enough to have known him.
