JOHN THOMAS ATHERTON 09.07.33 - 06.07.19. The family of the late John Thomas Atherton wish to express their sincere thanks to all the relatives, friends and neighbours for their kind thoughts, cards of condolence and donations in aid of The Christie and St James Transplant Unit, Leeds. Special thanks to Father Kieron & Deacon Dennis for the comforting service at Twelve Apostles Leigh. To all health professionals for their care and support. To all at Sankey & Monks Funeral Services for their dignified funeral arrangements and also to all staff at Leigh Subby Club for the lovely refreshments. John David Gary Janet and Mark have been overwhelmed at the outpouring of love shown for a true gentleman. He will be much missed by all who knew him and John's family John, David & Lorraine, Gary & Sharon, Janet & Steve, Mark & Paula and special friend Brenda and grandchildren/great grandchildren, Chris, Tim, Rachael, Olivia, Lily, Jack,Oliver and Annie.
