ELLEN "NELL" BAXTER The family of the late Ellen Baxter would like to express their sincere thanks to all relatives, friends, neighbours, and all who attended her funeral, we were overwhelmed by the number of people who came to pay their respects. Thank you to Royal Bolton hospital, particularly the nurses on Covid ward A4. They were angels to my mother when we could not be there to hold her hand. They organised cake and tea on mother's birthday and then organised 'FaceTime' with us all. Also we are eternally grateful as a family, that they granted mother's final wish and organised a catholic priest to administer the 'Last Rites'. Also, thank you to all the wonderful carers at Harmony homecare, Atherton. We must give a special mention to Harmony carer, Angela Coulthurst, for her devotion to our Mother during the endless lockdowns when mother was shielding, where they formed a very special bond. Angela we are forever indebted to you. Thank you to Bernadette Furey-Thompson, Pete McNicholas, Charmaine Furey, and Olly Furey for their reading of the bidding prayers, to John Simpson for his reading, David Simpson for the Eulogy and Fiona Woodhead for her wonderful poem about her beloved gran. Thank you to all the pallbearers who shouldered the coffin, Jared Woodhead, John and David Simpson, Barrie and Josh Walters, Martin Neary and all The Furey brothers. Thanks to the staff at St Richard's Hall and Louise Carpenter for the wonderful buffet. Thank you to the people who sent donations directly to Dementia Uk or "Forgotten Regulars" at The Union Arms, Tyldesley. Thank you for all Mass cards, the beautiful floral tributes and sympathy cards. A heartfelt Thank You to Father Paul for the beautiful Requiem Mass at St. Richards, RC Church, Atherton, also huge thanks to the team at R.Banks & Son Funerals Ltd for their dignified funeral arrangements. Thank You and God bless you all.
