ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Academy Way (Introduction of Hackney Carriage Stands & No Waiting At Any Time) Temporary Order 2019 Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be as follows: -Appointment of Temporary Hackney Carriage Stand & Clearway Order, between the hours of 9pm & 5am: Academy Way - The south east side of Academy Way from a point 18.2m north east of its jet. with Bank St for a distance of 51m in a north easterly direction -8 spaces.

Temporary No Waiting at Any Time: Academy Way (South East Side) - From its jet. with Bank St to a point approx. 18.2m north east of its jet. with Bank St; Academy Way (South East Side) - From a point approx. 69.2m north east of its jet. with Bank St to its jet. with Moulders Ln.

The Order will be effective from 11th July 2019 for 16 weeks. The restrictions are required for temporary traffic management measures in support of the Time Square Development. Ref: High/2028



Academy Way & Moulders Ln (Various Restrictions)

Temporary Order 2019 Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 14th February 2019. The Order was to be effective from 18th February 2019 for 20 weeks however due to unforeseen circumstances on site the following restrictions are to remain in force for a further 16 weeks: Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Footway Closure -24 Hours:

Academy Way (eastbound traffic) - From its jet. with

Bridge St to its jet. with Bank St.

Temporary One Way System:

Moulders Ln - From Academy Way to Bank St (north to

south & from west to east).

The restrictions will be in place when signed on site, Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative routes will be: Academy Way (eastbound traffic) via Bridge St, Mersey St, Dial St, Buttermarket St & Academy St. The restrictions are required to undertake highway improvement works including kerbing, drainage & footway/carriageway surfacing.
