ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 Linqley Rd. Great Sankey (Prohibition of Driving)
Temporary Order 2019 Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Lingley Rd from its jet. with Sanderson CI to its jet. with Kintore Dr. The Order will be effective from 2nd December 2019 for 1 week, when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via Park Rd, Station Rd, Liverpool Rd & vice versa. The closure is required to allow United Utilities to carry sewer repairs. Ref: High/2070
The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) (Amendment No. 24) Experimental Order 2019 Notice is hereby given that on 27th November 2019 the Council made the abovementioned Order under Sections 1, 4, 9 & 10 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & of all other enabling Powers. The effect of the Order is as follows:-
1. The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation Order 2018, is hereby further varied or amended as follows: -Additional Article/Schedule & Amended Article
(a) By the addition of a new article under Part 8 - Restricted Parking Zones & the following entry thereunder:-28(a). Save as provided in Article 29 to this Order, no person, except with the direction or with the permission of a person authorised by the Council, Police Constable in uniform or Police Community Support Officer in uniform shall cause or permit any Motor Vehicle to wait in the roads specified in Column 1 of Schedule 95a to this Order to the extent specified in Column 2 of the said Schedule, during the hours and days as detailed in the said Schedule.
(b) By the addition of a new Schedule & the following entry thereunder: -
Schedule 95a - Restricted Parking Zone - No Waiting between the hours of 9:00am & 10:00am, Monday to Friday, Except Bank Holidays: Belvedere Drive - Its entire length; Detroit Close - Its entire length
(c) By the amendment of Articles 29(1), 29(2) & 53(a) being the addition of Schedule 95a to the said Article.
The Order will be effective from Thursday 5th December 2019 & will remain in force for a period not exceeding 18 months. The Council will be considering in due course, within the Experimental Order period, whether the provisions of the Experimental Order should continue in force indefinitely. Deposited documents may be examined at the Legal Services Section, Quattro Building, New Town House, Buttermarket Street, Warrington during the usual office hours Monday to Friday. All representations both in support or objecting to the proposals must be in writing either by post to Rebecca Lee of Legal Services or delivered by hand to the address above & be received within 6 months of the Experimental Order coming into force. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made. Please note that all representations received may be considered in public by the Council & that the substance of any representation together with the name & address of the person making it could become available for public inspection.
