ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 Dam Ln. Croft (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Dam Ln from its jet. with Smithy Ln to its jet. with Smithy Brow. The Order will be effective from 10th February 2020 for 3 days, when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via Smithy Ln, Smithy Brow & vice versa. The closure is required to allow United Utilities to carry out new water connection works. Ref: High/2083

SECTION 90A HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 Establishment of Road Humps & Traffic Calming Measures -Smith Drive Environmental Scheme 2020 Notice is hereby given that Warrington Borough Council intends, as part of its traffic calming proposals, to install traffic calming features, to regulate the speed of traffic under Section 90A to the Highways Act 1980, with the effects detailed in the Schedule to this notice. Deposited documents may be examined at the Legal Services Section, Quattro Building, New Town House, Buttermarket Street, Warrington during the usual office hours Monday to Friday. All representations both in support or objecting to the proposals must be in writing either by post to Rebecca Lee of Legal Services or delivered by hand to the address above by 13th February 2020 & all objections must specify the grounds on which they are made. Please note that all representations received may be considered in public by the Council & that the substance of any representation together with the name & address of the person making it could become available for public inspection.
