ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Academy St Academy Way, Lower Bank St Mersey St & Moulders Ln (Prohibition of Driving & Suspension) Temporary Order 2020
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving as follows:-Academy St - From its jet. with Buttermarket St to its jet. with Academy Way; Academy St - From its jet. with Academy Way to its jet. with Mersey St; Lower Bank St - From its jet. with Academy Way to its jet. with Mersey St; Mersey St - From its jet. with Buttermarket St to its jet. with Wharf St; Moulders Ln - From its jet. with Lower Bank St to its jet. with Academy Way. Temporary Suspension of The Borough of Warrington (Academy St & Scotland Rd) (One Way Traffic & Bus Lane) Order 1991 in so far as it relates to Academy St from its jet. with Buttermarket St to its jet. with Academy Way. Temporary Suspension of The Borough of Warrington (Bridge St Quarter) (Traffic Management) (Movement) Order 2017 in so far as it relates to Schedule 3 - One-Way Traffic on Moulders Ln for its entire length, from east to west & south to north & Schedule 5 -Prohibition of Driving on Academy Way from the south west side of the carriageway from its jet. with Lower Bank St to its jet. with Moulders Ln. The Order will be effective from 2nd March 2020 for 2 weeks between 7pm & 5am, Monday to Thursday, when signed on site. However it is anticipated the restrictions will only be in operation for 1 week in 3 phases as follows: Phase 1: Moulders Ln, Lower Bank St between Mersey St & Time Square Car Park Entrance, Academy St between Academy Way & Mersey St; Phase 2: Academy St southbound between Buttermarket St & Academy Way, Academy St between Academy Way & Mersey St, Lower Bank St between Academy Way & Time Square Car Park Entrance; Phase 3: Academy St northbound between Academy Way & Buttermarket St, Mersey St southbound.
The alternative routes will be as follows: Phase 1: Moulders Ln, Lower Bank St via Warrington New Brg, Warrington Old Brg, Bridge Foot, Lower Bank St, Wilson Patten St, Parker St, Liverpool Rd, Sankey Way, Sankey Gm, Priestley St, Froghall Ln, Midland Way, Cockhedge Grn, Brick St, Fennel St, Dial St, Buttermarket St, Academy St & Academy Way; Mersey St (northbound) via Warrington New Brg, Warrington Old Brg, Bridge Foot, Wilson Patten St, Parker St, Liverpool Rd, Sankey Way, Sankey Grn, Priestley St, Froghall Ln & Midland Way; Academy St via Academy St, Buttermarket St, Dial St & vice versa. Phase 2: Academy St (southbound) via Buttermarket St, Dial St, Mersey St, Warrington New Brg, Warrington Old Brg, Mersey St, Bank St & Moulders Ln; Academy St via Mersey St, Warrington New Brg, Warrington Old Brg, Mersey St, Lower Bank St, Moulders Ln & Academy Way; Bank St via Moulders Ln & Academy Way. Phase 3: Academy St via Academy St, Mersey St, Dial St & Buttermarket St; Mersey St (southbound) via Fennel St, Brick St, Midland Way, Froghall Ln, Priestley St, Sankey Way, Liverpool Rd, Parker St, Wilson Patten St & Bridge Foot. The restrictions are required to allow for remedial works to be carried out relating to the Time Square Development. Ref: High/2088

Birchall Ave. Culcheth (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2020
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Birchall Ave from its jet. with Common Ln to its jet. with Cawley Ave. The Order will be effective from 20th February 2020 for 2 weeks, when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Common Ln, Twiss Green Ln, Layland Ave & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Cadent Gas to carry out gas main replacement work. Ref: High/2087

Hilden Rd (Prohibition of Driving. Clearway & Footway Closure) Temporary Order 2020
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving, clearway & footway closure on Hilden Rd from its jet. with Westland Dr to its jet. with Andover CI. The Order will be effective from 27th February 2020 for 4 weeks between 9:30am & 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, when signed on site. The works will be undertaken in the following phases: Phase 1: western footway; Phase 2: carriageway. The alternative route will be via Orford Rd, Birchwood Way, Blackbrook Ave & vice versa. The restrictions are required for highway improvement works to the footway/ carriageway. Ref: High/2096

- From Cinnamon Ln to Crab Ln; Northwich Rd, Lower Stretton - From change of speed limit approx. 400m north west of Stockley Ln to the Borough Boundary; Ordnance Ave, Birchwood - From Admirals Rd to Moss Gate; Park Ln, Walton - From Warrington Rd to Firs Ln; Warrington Ln, Lymm - From Burford Ln to the Borough Boundary; Well Ln, Stretton

The Order will be effective from 2nd March 2020 for 30 weeks between 9:30am & 3:30pm when signed on site. The works are weather dependent & it is envisaged they will only take between 1 & 5 days at each location. The alternative routes will be: Alder Ln via Hollins Ln, Newton Rd, Winwick Rd, Cromwell Ave, Westbrook Cres, Europa Blvd, Charon Way, Burtonwood Rd, Clay Ln, Chapel Ln, Fir Tree Ln & vice versa; Back Ln via Phipps Ln, Broad Ln, Bold Ln & vice versa; Common Ln via Northwich Rd, Well Ln & vice versa; Cross Ln via New Ln, Smithy Ln, Lord St, Mustard Ln, Wigshaw Ln, Glaziers Ln, Warrington Rd & vice versa; Fearnhead Ln via Insall Rd, Blackbrook Ave, Birchwood Way, Crab Ln & vice versa; Northwich Rd via Tarporley Rd, Ash House Ln, Cogshall Ln, Warrington Rd, The Avenue, Gibb Hill, Northwich Rd & vice versa; Ordnance Ave via Oakwood Gate, Birchwood Way, Moss Gate & vice versa; Park Ln via Chester Rd, Walton New Rd, Hill Cliffe Rd, Walton Lea Rd, Hough's Ln & vice versa; Warrington Ln via Burford Ln, Higher Ln, Lymm Rd & vice versa. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving & clearway as follows: Warrington Rd (Westbound only) - From Liverpool Rd to Greystone Rd; From Warrington Rd for 50 metres along the following lengths of road: Grange Dr; Clifford Ln; Inglenook Rd; Hall Nook. The Order will be effective from 9th March 2020 tor 5 weeks between 7pm & 1am, when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Sankey Way, Liverpool Rd, Stocks Ln, Farnworth Rd, Widnes Rd & vice versa. The restrictions are required for carriageway surfacing. Ref: High/2086
Dam Ln. Croft (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Dam Ln from its jet. with Smithy Ln to its jet. with Smithy Brow. The Order will be effective from 10th February 2020 for 3 days, when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Smithy Ln, Smithy Brow & vice versa. The closure is required to allow United Utilities to carry out new water connection works. Ref: High/2083

The Borough of Warrington (A50 Knutsford Rd. Grappenhall) (30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that the Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2,4, 81, 82, 83 & 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to extend the existing 30 mph speed limit further along the derestricted section of road on A50 Knutsford Rd, this new limit will be from its jet. with A56 Chester Rd to a point 475m south east of the same jet., therefore now becomes a restricted road. Deposited documents may be examined at the Legal Services Section, Quattro Building, New Town House, Buttermarket St, Warrington during the usual office hours Monday to Friday.
