The Council propose to make an Order under the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, its effect will as follows:
Deletion:
from the Bolton (Brackley Street, Arthur Street and Slater Street,Farnworth)(Pedestrian Priority Zone)(No.22)Order 2013 Part 2 of the Schedule - Arthur Street from a point 15 metres south of its junction with Brackley Street, for a distance of 2 metres in a southerly direction.
Additions:
One Way Traffic (eastbound)
Brackley Street from its junction with Arthur Street to its junction
with Market Street. One Way Traffic (northbound) Arthur Street from a point 17 metres south of its junction with Brackley Street to its junction with Brackley Street. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE BOLTON (PUBLIC FOOTPATHS HORWICH NO.101 & HORWICH NO.105) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) (NO.) ORDER 2017 The Borough Council of Bolton intends to make an Order not less than seven days from the date of this Notice. The effect which will be operative from 14th September 2017 and will prohibit all pedestrian traffic from using Public Footpaths Horwich No.101 and Horwich No.105 commencing from Chorley New Road; point A at grid reference SD 364485 410612 in a generally south west by southerly direction to point B at grid reference SD 364309 410374; as shown by the bold black line on the Order plan 1Hor101/105 over a total distance of approximately 303 metres.
The Borough Council of Bolton intends to make an Order not less than seven days from the date of this Notice. The effect which will be operative from 14th September 2017 and will prohibit all pedestrian traffic from using Public Footpaths Horwich No.101 and Horwich No.105 commencing from Chorley New Road; point A at grid reference SD 364485 410612 in a generally south west by southerly direction to point B at grid reference SD 364309 410374; as shown by the bold black line on the Order plan 1Hor101/105 over a total distance of approximately 303 metres.
An alternative route will be available commencing from Public Footpath Horwich 101; point A at grid reference SD 364485 410612, then Chorley New Road, Napier Drive, Aspinall Close; Horwich 106; Mansell Way; point B at grid reference SD 364309 410374 as shown by the blue line with arrowheads on the Order plan 1Hor101/105. The Order is necessary to facilitate work to construct a new pipe and manhole for Nellies Clough water course and will continue for a period of 10 weeks, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
