Rob came to journalism relatively late after an earlier career in teaching. While he covers every kind of story day-to-day, he is a member of Newsquest’s Investigations Network and likes nothing more than pouring over historic Land Registry documents and Companies House registers. He also loves to write about the natural world, food and drink, travel, and anything relating to Cheshire’s wonderful waterways. In his spare time, he will be found either in the kitchen, or off in the countryside watching wildlife, fishing, and foraging.
