OUR Mersey Series match at Victoria Park on Sunday saw Ade Green take his first win of the year on what was the last river match of 2019, with a weight of 1lbs 6ozs 0drs made up of small roach taken on feeder and maggot tactics.
THE Bridgewater Canal is still producing pike catches for members, with Tom Chambers reporting catching four on a Sunday session in the Lymm/Statham area. He was lure fishing and his best fish was around seven or 8lbs.
