FANS of The Jam can relive the Mod era with a tribute night at The Club Burtonwood.

The Phipps Lane club regularly hosts gigs as well as comedy nights and talks as part of its aim to bring the community together.

The Jam night takes place on Saturday and features not one but two tribute bands back to back – The Jam’d and The Jam Collective.

The Jam, led by Paul Weller, formed in 1972 and had 13 top 20 singles on six albums.

That included four chart-toppers with Going Underground, Start, Town Called Malice and Beat Surrender.

Other gig nights at the venue coming up include Definitely Oasis on March 21 and Motown Magic on April 11.

A Tribute to The Jam is on Saturday at The Club Burtonwood.

Tickets are £10 and doors open at 7.30pm.
