SCHOOL of Rock The Musical is going on its first UK tour next year – and class will commence at Manchester's Palace Theatre from June 21 to July 3, 2021.
The high energy production will also be at Liverpool Empire Theatre from October 18 to 23.
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s hit West End show is based on the Jack Black movie and follows Dewey Finn, a wannabe rock star who decides to earn a few extra bucks by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school.
There he turns a class of straight-A students into a guitar-shredding rock band – performed live by the production’s young actors every night.
While teaching these pint-sized prodigies what it means to rock, Dewey falls for the school’s beautiful, but uptight headmistress, helping her rediscover her wild side.
The award-winning show 14 new songs from Andrew Lloyd Webber and all the original songs from the film so get ready to rock.
Tickets go on general sale on Monday, March 9. Visit atgtickets.com/venues/palace-theatre-manchester or call the box office on 0844 871 3019.
