COMEDY is on the menu at the 180 Club in Leigh.
The Comedy Club Lancashire is holding an opening night at the Railway Road club which will feature three comedians from the same circuit that launched stars such as Michael McIntyre, Jimmy Carr and Jason Manford.
Tony Simpson will compere the evening with, Gerry K as the opening comedian and Mike McClean the headline act on September 6 from 9pm.
Tony has written and performed in two sell out Comedy Festival Shows on matters such as being cheeky and one called adrenaline junkie in which he tells the tale of the year he spent competing in the British Rally Championships.
Anecdotal, observational and refreshingly honest, Gerry K has performed across the UK and abroad and Mike gravitated towards stand-up comedy and quickly broke onto the circuit with a comedy magic act.
He has worked on the The Big Breakfast and appeared in Shameless as Father Tony and in The Office Christmas Special.
Doors will open at 7pm and tickets are £12.50 or £10 for members from the box office on 01942-672800 or from thecomedyclub.co.uk.
Membership is free from thecom-edyclub.co.uk.
