Love Island viewers have accused Rosie Williams of letting Adam Collard “off the hook” as she appeared to be giving him a second chance and recoupled with him.

The pair recently fell out after Collard talked about Williams behind her back, saying she was a bit “materialistic” and that “alarm bells were ringing” about her.

But they were paired up again during Wednesday night’s recoupling, where they get to choose to remain in their current couples, or pick new partners.

Williams was the last girl to pick and Collard was the only remaining man, meaning she had no choice but to couple up with him.

Looking distinctly unimpressed, she reluctantly said she was going with Collard because there was nobody else left.

But she also hinted that she might be about to forgive him as she told Collard she hoped he was going to take the opportunity to make things up to her.

Fans of the ITV2 reality show said they think Williams is being foolish trusting Collard again.

“Rosie if you believe him you’re a mug,” one person said on Twitter, while another said she had let him “off the hook”.

“Secretly Adam is waiting for a hottie to come in, so he can leave Rosie and do his ting! Trust!” said another.

One person had an idea for who Williams could have picked, joking: “Rosie should have picked a cameraman TBH.”

The pairing was not the only coupling to upset viewers.

There was also a huge response after Megan Barton Hanson chose Eyal Booker over Alex George.

Both boys have expressed an interest in the model, and viewers had been rooting for A&E doctor George to beta his love rival, as he has struggled to find romance on the show.

However, Barton Hanson has shown more interest in Booker and when it was recoupling time, chose him to pair up with.

“What the actual hell, Megan? Why choose Eyal? Just why??????” said one viewer.

“Seriously Megan. I hope you get dumped now. Very closely followed by Eyal. CHOOSE ALEX,” urged another.

Love Island continues on ITV2.
