I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! contender Jake Quickenden may think he still has the X Factor, but one person certainly does not agree.
Camp mate Melanie Sykes wasn’t impressed with his constant crooning after she complained his singing got on her nerves.
The singer, who was turfed out in the first few weeks of the talent shows live finals before going Down Under to the jungle, also got a ticking off about his bathroom habits.
Show bosses had a wee word with him after he went to the loo in the bushes and warned the celebrities that urinating in the camp boundaries could attract snakes on to the set.
Jake’s day got progressively worse when Melanie asked him to quit crooning, saying: “You’ve got such a nice voice but sometimes it just gets on my nerves.
“Soz. I’m not being spiteful.”
He told the Bush Telegraph he might have to “curb” himself “to make other people feel at ease”, adding: “I’m always singing at home, I’m always singing in here.
“Probably my singing is annoying because I didn’t last very long on The X Factor did I?”
There was better news for former Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson who was voted in to do another Bushtucker Trial.
Despite the US star admitting she did not have any confidence in herself, she managed to complete the task and bring back 10 stars to the camp.
