Emeli Sande has unveiled her first new track in over two years.
The Scottish singer previewed a clip of Don’t Fight The Bullet on YouTube, which is thought to feature on her forthcoming second album.
The 28-year-old Brit winner is seen performing the stripped down track in the black-and-white footage, accompanied by just a piano.
Emeli wrote on Instagram: “Here’s the whole song! This is not a single or anything official just really wanted to share this with you all. Hope you enjoy it x.”
There are high hopes for the singer’s follow-up album to her debut, Our Version Of Events, which became the biggest selling album of 2012 and 2013.
The record spawned top five singles such as Heaven, Next To Me, Clown and Read All About It (Pt III) featuring Professor Green.
The track has already whetted the appetites of Emeli’s fans.
WillMackMersh wrote: “Genuinely having withdrawal symptoms from your voice. Such a natural, beautiful vibrato. Cannot wait for the next album. Britain’s biggest export in my opinion.”
Paal Hetland commented: “A masterpiece straight away! I love that you sing acoustic too! Amazing voice! Nothing but beautiful! Make it a single or put it on Spotify!” while Giuseppe Tarantella added: “OMG Emeli, i’m crying. Love u so much.”
