Michael Douglas has said his son is “doing great” after spending seven years in prison.
The Hollywood actor told Ross King on Good Morning Britain that Cameron – who served time for drug offences and struggled with addiction – wants to return to acting following his release.
He told Good Morning Britain: “He is doing great, and I’m sure there’ll be time for him to tell his story when he is ready to.
“He spent seven years in prison as a non-violent drug offender, approximately two years in solitary.
“Cameron, now that he is out of prison, definitely wants to get back into acting and had a decent career going before.”
The full interview will air in the next few weeks on Good Morning Britain.
