This year’s I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! has not disappointed.
From Scarlett Moffatt’s quirky one-liners to Martin Roberts and his talcum powder ways, there has been action galore.
Here are some of the best moments that got people talking:
1. Scarlett and Larry Lamb in the opening episode
The first episode did not disappoint – especially when it came to watching Larry and Scarlett tackling their canoe challenge on a lake.
Scarlett aired her concerns that her fake tan was going to run off but she soon had more to worry about when her canoe started sinking.
Larry headed back into the lake to rescue her, Baywatch style, winning over viewers at home with his heroic antics.
2. Ant and Dec’s Bake Off gag
Carol Vorderman and Scarlett Moffatt had to face some stomach-churning treats in their I’m A Celebrity Big Bush Bake Off trial, which included camel nipples, turkey testicles, cow anus and vomit fruit, all lovingly prepared by the camp chef, Scary Berry.
But despite their heroics, it was presenters Ant and Dec who stole the limelight as they referenced the BBC’s loss of popular baking show The Great British Bake Off to Channel 4, saying: “That looked like a great trial, so good in fact that Channel 4 have just bought it for £75 million!”.
“Now there’s not a soggy bottom in sight … yet”, Dec joked.
3. Adam Thomas and his spider screams
Emmerdale star Adam came face to face with his worst nightmare early on in the jungle as he and Joel Dommett tackled a morse code challenge.
The actor screamed hysterically on various occasions though when he had to brave being near any spiders. But he managed to overcome his fear and even held one in his mouth.
But then footballer Wayne Bridge nearly upstaged him as he entertained everyone by freaking out over goats.
4. The Great Jammie Dodger debate
A conversation about biscuits turned into a national debate when the campmates were discussing Jammie Dodger biscuits and how you shouldn’t dunk them in tea.
Jordan Banjo and Scarlett didn’t think the jam-filled treats should ever be dipped in a cuppa. But Martin Roberts disagreed and said he couldn’t see why not.
Cue a major debate. Everywhere.
5. Joel Dommett’s many, many one-liners
As one of the least well-known campmates, no-one really knew what to expect from Joel. But he has not disappointed at all. The comedian has delivered some staggeringly funny comments and moments in the jungle.
He dressed as a crab – and it was priceless.
He was brutally honest about his dinner party situation.
He didn’t boast about being in really good shape, when he really could have.
Whoever wins this year will indeed be worthy of the jungle crown.
