You're spoilt for choice with Easter events over the long weekend. Here's our round-up of the very best events.

*THERE'S a packed programme of entertainment at Weymouth Pavilion this weekend.

The ever popular That'll Be The Day will be performed this evening (19) from 7.30pm. Back by ever-growing popular demand, get ready to party as this rock & roll variety production returns with another chance to see its latest most popular show.

Britain's Got Talent winner Lance Corporal Richard Jones brings his show Escape to Weymouth Pavilion tomorrow (20) evening at 7.30pm. Richard is attempting ‘meaningful magic’, that’s not just your normal set of tricks, but a programme by which to live your life.

*PICK up something beautiful, unique and Dorset-inspired at the first Dorset Art Market on Saturday, April 20 from 10am to 2pm at the Avenue Stadium, Dorchester.

Talented Dorset artists will be selling originals, prints and handmade items. Entry is free. Call 07951 255818 for more information.

*Dorset Young Farmers Rally & Show takes place at Dorchester Showground tomorrow. There will be a Main Ring Attraction timetable going on throughout the day including a Dog Show, a famous Tug of War Competition, Chariot Races, a Tractor Parade and much more. An Easter Egg hunt will be running throughout the day and you may even get a chance to hold a chick or throw some arrows. The event is free to those under 16 and for those over it will cost £5.00 entry fee with a free raffle ticket to our Prize Raffle on the day, 01305 263947

*FOODIES should head to the Dorset Food and Drink Fair at Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens tomorrow from 10am to 4pm.

Whether you prefer savoury foods or a sweet treat, you can spend the day sampling Dorset’s delights and choosing from the stalls of more than 30 local merchants, all members of Dorset Food and Drink.

Entry costs £6 per adult and is free for those aged under 16. Pre-book online at abbotsbury-tourism.co.uk/gardens/events/ and only pay £5.

Entry includes access to the Subtropical Gardens (normally £12.50).

*SING and dance with Strictly Come Dancing's Dr Ranj at Brewery Square, Dorchester tomorrow (20) with two free performances at 11am and 1pm.

The fun and informative family performance will be entertaining for parents and children alike, as Dr. Ranj and his friends sing and dance during the educational live show.

*ENJOY a beer and some live music at the Quayside Festival at Weymouth Harbour from midday today and Saturday and continuing into the evening.

*THOSE with special memories of Castle Cove Beach in Weymouth are invited to attended the official opening of the new steps leading to the beloved beach.

Everyone is encouraged to wear brightly coloured clothing or fancy dress to the steps opening at 1pm tomorrow (20). There will be games for children, and then a mass swim in the sea.

*AN EASTER Fair is being held at Strangways Hall in Abbotsbury from 10am to 2pm tomorrow (20).

Entry is free and you can also decorate an egg which will be displayed at the hall. Eggs cost £1 each.
