A COUPLE have cycled 110 miles to raise money for Wigan and Leigh Hospice.
Chloe Riley, aged 22, and 24-year-old Andrew Brooke cycled from where they live in Birmingham to Chloe’s hometown in memory of her uncle Neil Redmond who was cared for by the Hindley hospice.
They cycled from Birmingham to Stoke where they spent the night before heading up to Warrington before finally arriving at the hospice.
Chloe said: "My uncle had melanoma and was admitted to the hospice where he died two years ago. The hospice provided a peaceful place for him.
"We both really enjoyed it although we did get lost around Northwich so it ended up taking us a lot longer than we thought."
Chloe, who is in her final year at the Birmingham School of Acting, and Andrew, who has just been accepted as a PCSO with West Midlands Police, have raised £500 so far.
