BBC television programme Hair is looking for contestants for its second series.
Hair is a competitive, amateur hairstyling series which aired on BBC Three earlier this year, presented by Steve Jones with industry professionals Alain Pichon and Denise McAdam as judges.
Each week contestants will be given a number of technical and creative style-based challenges, designed to help test and develop their hairstyling skills.
This year the programme is moving to BBC Two, and the producers are looking for people with a wide variety of occupations, backgrounds and talents to take part including hairdressing students and salon juniors, as well as those with no formal training or background in hairdressing.
There are no qualifications necessary to take part, but applicants must not have completed an NVQ Level 2 or VRQ Level 2 in hairdressing.
