Man admits GBH charge
A MAN from Atherton has admitted attacking another man.
Damien McKeown, aged 32, of Leigh Road, had been due to face trial on Monday accused of causing grievous bodily harm to Dennis Unsworth with intent on September 9 last year.
But at Liverpool Crown Court he pleaded guilty to a lesser alternative charge of inflicting grievous bodily harm, which was accepted by the prosecution.
McKeown was remanded in custody to await sentence on March 18.
