THE positive face of Leigh RMI was on show at Throstle's Nest and although Stuart Humphreys' side were denied by three points by a Damian Reeves equaliser in stoppage time, the tangible improvement in performance should remain the focal point.
RMI leapt above Scarborough to third bottom of Conference North despite the heartbreak shortly before 5 o'clock, after a game in which all the goal action came in the final eight minutes.
But such a situation seemed improbable after the zero return from the home game with Vauxhall Motors eight days before - a treble-goal whipping which seemed to push Unibond League football closer to Hilton Park.
