BAKER Barbara Taylor from Golborne offered to make the Journal a cake to celebrate its 140th birthday.
Barbara is a dab hand in the kitchen and regularly bakes for events organised by the Golborne Village Committee, as well as tenants and residents meetings.
The delicious and beautifully decorated cake was presented to the Journal team by members of the Golborne Village Committee and Clr Yvonne Klieve at Barbara’s house.
