A PUBLIC transport company is asking staff and customers to be brave and don't shave to help change the face of men's health.
First Manchester, which runs the guided busway's Vantage vehicles, is supporting Movember in aid of its chosen national charity Prostate Cancer UK.
Ian Humphreys, head of commercial at First Manchester, said: “Every year 10,000 men die of prostate cancer, and with a large proportion of our employees being male it is important that we help in any way we can.
“We want to encourage more people to get involved with this month’s Movember fundraising and will be supporting our staff who have decided to take up this year’s challenge.”
Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of various cancers.
