STAFF from St Mary’s Catholic High School in Astley represented the school at a special Duke of Edinburgh service at Westminster Abbey.
Assistant head teacher Lee Peachey and chairman of governors Jack Farrimond attended the event last Thursday and said they felt ‘privileged’ to be invited in recognition of the school supporting the Duke of Edinburgh award.
Dignitaries and members of the Royal Family present at the event including the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Earl and Countess of Wessex.
