A LARGE quantity of weapons has been seized in a drugs raid on a house in Westleigh.
Three men have been charged with possession of controlled drugs after Greater Manchester Police executed a warrant to search a Maple Crescent property on Monday.
Officers found guns, knives and other weapons in the house, as well as bags of illegal drugs.
The weapons were confiscated as evidence and will be destroyed.
A police spokesman said on social media: "Officers executed a warrant under the misuse of drugs act at an address on Maple Crescent suspected to be linked to the supply of controlled drugs in the Westleigh area.
“A quantity of drugs were recovered, as was a large hoard of weapons found stashed around the house.
“Three suspects were arrested and subsequently charged for possession of controlled drugs.”
