A MAN has been found guilty of assaulting a female in Leigh and causing her actual bodily harm.

Joshua Cleworth, of no fixed abode, denied the attack on June 3.

The 22-year-old was convicted at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

He is set to be sentenced at Bolton Crown Court on September 18.

Louise Kehoe, of Atherton Road, Hindley Green, admitted causing £120 worth of damage to a door and fire extinguisher at a hostel in Leigh.

The 42-year-old was conditionally discharged for 12 months.

She has to pay £150 court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Stanley Worrall, of Brierdale Road, Atherton, admitted assaulting a female on August 3.

The 48-year-old was remanded on conditional bail and is set to return to the court for sentencing on August 31.

Amy Gibson, of Troutbeck Drive, Astley, admitted failing to identify the driver of a vehicle on November 6 who was allegedly guilty of an offence having been required to do so by Greater Manchester Police.

The 32-year-old was given six points on her driving licence and was fined £240 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

Christian Henry, of Hazel Grove, Golborne, and Donald Ridley, of Abbey Lane, Leigh, admitted breaching the peace in their respective towns on Sunday.

Henry, 42, was bound over in the sum of £200 for six months to keep the peace.

Ridley, 24, was bound over in the sum of £50 for 12 months to keep the peace.
