A poster for the fundraising event
RESIDENTS are invited to take a trip back in time as a band specialising in 1960s and 70s music prepares to perform in a charity fundraiser at Leigh Rugby Union Football Club.
Travellin' Strings' gig at the club at Round Ash Park, Hand Lane, has been organised by the Leigh and district branch of Soroptimist International.
It will be held from 7.30pm on Saturday, September 30, with the proceeds going to Francis House Children’s Hospice and other charities the Soroptimist branch raises money for.
