A REPEAT offender has been jailed for 10 weeks for a series of shoplifting offences.
Jack Mountford, of Henrietta Street, Leigh, pleaded guilty to 11 counts of shoplifting from July 3 to October 7 at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
Among the thefts, which happened on separate occasions, the 22-year-old stole five bottles of Jack Daniels, 14 steaks at Asda Leigh Supercentre.
He stole two electric toothbrushes worth £400 at Boots Leigh on July 3.
Mountford was also found guilty of damaging a car on July 20 and a window at a property in Leigh on September 1.
