A YOUTH has admitted to a string of offences including the assault of a police officer, breaching restraining orders, theft and possession of a Knuckle Duster in public.
The 16-year-old from Hindley is due to appear for sentencing at Greater Manchester Youth Court at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Thursday (December 7).
He pleaded guilty at a hearing on November 25 to multiple charges including assaulting of a police constable in Leigh on February 8 and failing to appear in court two days later after being bailed.
He again failed to surrender to court bail on April 20.
The teenager has also pleaded guilty to criminal damage by destroying a mobile phone and to two counts of harassment by breach of restraining orders which had been imposed in December 2016, and to an assault.
The youth has also admitted to stealing two watches worth £1,200 from a home in Hindley on August 30 and possession of a Knuckle Duster in public on Atherton Road, Hindley Green on September 27.
The case was adjourned on November 25 for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
He will appear back in court on Thursday.
