PLANS have been submitted to convert the old Atherton Ambulance station building into an industrial workshop.
Power Drive Services Ltd, which has a base on Victoria Street in Leigh, is looking to move into the Orchard Lane property, which was last used in September.
It was part of a move in which staff across the borough from Northwest Ambulance Service (NWAS) moved into Wigan Community Fire and Ambulance Station.
A decision is expected to be made on March 6 with a neighbourhood consultation currently in place.
