A HORDE of weapons was seized from a house in Atherton yesterday morning, Thursday as part of a drugs raid.
Police raided a property on Stanley Street and found blades such as a sickle, machete and axes along with a quantity of cash and drugs.
A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply controlled drugs and money laundering.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: "This result was on the back of intelligence provided to us by members of the local community."
Wigan Council helped with the investigation.
