WHEELIE bins were torched by youths at a park which police have described as a "rising issue" due to anti-social behaviour.
Firefighters were called to Leyland Park in Hindley after bins were set on fire last night.
Greater Manchester Police Hindley tweeted last night: "Hindley Parents: Do you know where your children are?
"We appreciate it's half term and the days are getting longer and children should be out having fun. Leyland park is becoming a rising issue with youths causing anti-social behaviour."
Youths setting fire to stolen wheely bins on Leyland park cause the Fire Brigate to attend again...parents please advise your children of the dangers of this practice
