WIGAN and Leigh Hospice's annual farmers market and craft fair is returning later this month.

The family-friendly event will be held at the Hindley hospice on Sunday, April 29 from 9am to 3pm with around 40 stalls selling food and drink including produce such as fresh fish, meat, vegetables and fruit.

Other goods like cheeses, preserves, cakes, sweets and chocolates will be on sale.

Homemade crafts, gifts, flowers and plants will also be on offer.

A prosecco bar will also be at the Kildare Street site.

There will be raffles, tombolas and games on the day.

Community fundraiser for Wigan and Leigh Hospice, Katie Stevenson, said: “This is our third annual Farmers Market and Craft Fair and we’re really pleased that this year we’ve more stalls than ever selling a range of fresh produce as well as a wide range gifts and crafts.”

Admissions is free with everyone welcome to attend.
