A NATIONAL discount shop is set to open at Spinning Gate Shopping Centre in Leigh tomorrow, Friday.
The opening of retail store The Works will create eight jobs in the town and will offer a range of stationery, art and craft materials, books, hobbies and toys.
Centre manager Karen Cox said: "We are delighted to welcome The Works to Spinning Gate Shopping Centre.
"The introduction of The Works will further enhance the strength of the centre’s retail offering, providing job opportunities and presents a platform for those interested in learning new crafty skills and hobbies."
The new shop is located next to Farmfoods.
CEO of The Works Kevin Keaney added: “Our stores have been affectionately called 'Aladdin’s caves' by our customers with gifts for everyone.
"We are delighted to be able to bring our unique offer to Leigh, generating new jobs for the area and we look forward to being part of the local community in the years to come."
The opening of The Works follows the recent addition of hair salon, Hers and Sirs Hairdressing and Barbers.
