A DOG was rescued at a house after a kitchen fire this morning, Friday.
Three crews were sent to Thornbush Close in Lowton at 6.15am where they used breathing apparatus, two hose reels, and a positive ventilation fan to put out the blaze.
The dog was given oxygen treatment to a dog before being taken to a vet.
